The Make - A - Wish Foundation of Washington state was
founded in 1986 in Tacoma. In 1999 they increased the
territory by adding Alaska, N. Idaho and Montana. Now
one of the largest chapters they have granted over 1500
wishes and currently grant an average of 18 wishes per
month.

The Foundation becomes aware of eligible children
through wish referrals, from parent, guardians,or medical
professionals.

There are Three requirements before a wish can be
granted.

* The child is at least 2 1\2 - 17

* The child's physician medically qualifies the child

* The child has not received a previous wish from the
Foundation

Now is the time for us to work as a TEAM. Only by
working together can we make dreams come true.
Together WE all benefit. After all there is no 'I' in TEAM.
